Cook books
In a restaurant run with passion, every dish tells a little story. And so does a cookery book written with passion. Try out the recipes from Andreas Caminada and his chefs, get to know Graubünden and the people behind the products we love to work with.
It all began in 2019 with a bright red book featuring a heart on the cover. Its title: “Pure Leidenschaft” (Pure Passion). Its aim: to win your heart with the simple cuisine of Graubünden and to inspire you to cook not only the region’s beloved classics, but also more modern dishes that remain deeply rooted in the mountain canton. A year later came “Pure Freude” (Pure Joy), the second book in the Herz series, featuring a slightly broader geographical selection of recipes—easy to prepare at home and just as full of soul. In late summer and autumn of the following years, books number 3 and 4 appeared. First came “You and I”, a volume dedicated to our IGNIV restaurants, which also introduces the protagonists behind the concept in detail. Then followed the third heart book: “Pure Frische” (Pure Freshness), a collection bursting with vegetarian recipes and stories surrounding our permaculture garden. In 2023, Andreas Caminada published another addition to the series: “Pure Tiefe” (Pure Depth), a book devoted entirely to his take on fish cuisine.
